Simply put, Supremacy is the greatest sire to ever walk the pastures in Minonk.  Phenotypically, he is siring easy fleshing, superb structured cattle with look and balance.  His daughters are wedge shaped, maternally functional brood cows and his sons are masculine, powerful beef machines designed to provide reduced stress during calving season.  Genetically, his influence stems from the great Elizabeth P42B donor who continues to redefine how a Shorthorn brood cow should function and look like.  She is a must see.  Supremacy reads with exceptional balance on paper providing much needed versatility to many Shorthorn breeding programs.  To compliment all of this, he has had flawless hoof health, is exceptionally fertile, is extraordinarily docile, soft hided and haired, THF, PHAF, and homozygous polled.  He has been working on a wide variety of body types and pedigrees.  Truly a special herd sire.

Revelation is named appropriately. We have not produced a bull that combines his maternal profile and power until now. He is sired by the immortal Ash Valley Prestige 0665, the bull that revolutionized our cattle in terms of calving ease and fleshing ability. His mother, Hahn Roan Gem NL4204, raised 13 natural calves during her 15 year career, only taking part of a year off for embryo work. She was a model of consistency and ensured her legacy with her final calf. Within our herd, she often was our model of brood cow function, bold yet deep rib cage, beautiful udder, and perfect feet. The confidence we have in Revelation is very high. The basics are so well covered in this bull. Perfect skeletal angles, huge even toed hoof, smooth design, reproductively sound (semen tested at 10.5 months), potential udder quality, fleshing ability, with balanced practical performance. We have finally produced the replacement for 0665. His service in our heifer pasture is a proud testament to our continuing obligation to provide our customers with potential immediate success from our bred female offerings.

We all know that there is both a real and perceived calving ease problem within our great breed of cattle. To that end, we have been trying to create cattle with more manageable birth weights and larger pelvic areas without sacrificing any of the breed’s gains in muscularity and carcass efficiency. What better way to achieve all these goals in one package than to purchase Prestige 0665 from Loving Farms. The Loving name ensures generations of cattle bred for real world practicality and function while the Proud Jazz lineage is industry accepted as a high quality Shorthorn calving ease option.  Prestige has proven to improve longevity, milk, and skeletal integrity.  His progeny and grand-progeny will continue to highlight our offerings.

Cognac is a sire that will forever influence our program through the many sons, daughters, and grand-progeny working here.  Here is a sire that adds body dimension and growth in that first generation.  We continue to use Cognac to improve rib shape and depth, great pre- and post-205 growth, as well as increasing bone and muscle volume.  Additionally, he sires cattle with a quality look and balance that are successful in sale and show arenas.   He is ideally used on plainer featured, lower performing cows as well as cows needing more power and substance.

2019 Illinois State Fair Grand Champion Bull

Crown is a nearly perfect structured bull showing remarkable athleticism and flexibility off both ends of his skeleton.  He sires upheaded, attractive, maternal profiling daughters and stout, wide centered sons.  His genetic utility stems from both sides of his pedigree.  His sire, DPH Contender SP2104, has long been our genetic supplier of muscle mass and growth on proportional and eye appealing frames.  Most importantly, Crown stems from the dominant Elizabeth female line.  His mother, Elizabeth T23A, is a powerhouse matron in our program and maternal sister to our premier donor Elizabeth P42B.  T23A has an impressive record herself producing Crown’s full sister, Elizabeth C11D – 2 day NJSS Division Champion and 5th Overall B&O; Ellipse C43E – herd sire for Rolling Hills / the Birch Family, 3rd only to Continental Divide and Supremacy at NAILE; and is grandmother to Elizabeth R32F – Reserve Grand 2019 Illinois State Fair and 2019 World Beef Expo.  We recommend Crown to breeders looking for a sire that will add maternal value without sacrificing look and power.

HAHN CL CHAOS S21H

2020 Reserve Division Champion NAILE

Chaos is a curve bending, genetic powerhouse backed by generations of maternal excellence.  He has posted outstanding performance data with adjusted figures of 80/836/1348.  We are more excited about what his progeny will add in maternal value.  His mother is a fast rising donor that is owned with Clodfelter Livestock.  She is a massive, sound, great milking daughter of the best cow maker in the breed – Ash Valley Prestige 0665.  On top of that, she is from one of our keystone female lines, the Roan Gems, known for their milk, fleshing ease, and scale pushing performance.  Chaos is sired by the best herd sire we have ever run in our pastures, Hahn Supremacy C42E and Supremacy is dammed by the best animal to ever walk here, Elizabeth P42B.  Like his sire, Chaos is perfectly athletic with big feet, loose skeleton, and comfortable stride.  He is big bodied, loose hided and works incredible muscle mass functionally down his top and through his quarter.  With two shots of 0665 and the Elizabeth and Roan Gem influence, we suggest breeders use Chaos to create easy fleshing, beef cow powerhouses and potential calving ease sire prospects with eye appeal and mass.
